4 Tips on Camping With Your Dog

Camping with your dog can be a great way to experience the outdoors. However, if you are not prepared, it can become a nightmare. Here's what you need to pack before heading out on your next adventure with your furry companion.

  1. Dog Daypack: Make sure the pack is lightweight and fits your dog comfortably. Allow your pups to carry their own treats and water.
  2. Emergency/First Aid Kit: Tick release, vet wraps, butterfly bandages, coated aspirin, rubbing alcohol, ear and eye drops, foot balm, and socks to put over a paw if cut/injured.
  3. Waste Bags: Plastic bags are a must if you take your dog camping. If you are taking your dog camping you need to be responsible for your dog and what your dog leaves behind at all times. This will keep campgrounds dog friendly.
  4. Treats/Toys: Like kids, dogs like a fun toy or a tasty treat. Bring your dog’s favorite toys to play with to prevent boredom, reduce stress and add something familiar to camping.

Now, here are a bunch of pictures of dogs camping with their humans. Enjoy!
