How To Travel If You're a Busy Person

One of the biggest reasons why people don’t travel is because they are too busy, or at least they claim to be. Well, that’s a terrible excuse. No one is too busy for a whirlwind trip.

Think of a whirlwind trip as a mini-adventure. You work a lot, but you’re free most weekends. Your body, mind, and soul need a little bit of refreshing. I’ve found myself in this position a few times. Starting this company has been very time consuming. I knew I needed to travel a little bit to maintain my mental and spiritual health.

Luckily, the United States is the perfect place for a whirlwind trip due to the fact that most places are easy to get into and out of. The best part about a whirlwind trip is that it doesn’t take very much planning. In fact, the less you have planned the better. The entire premise of a whirlwind trip is that it’s barely a trip at all. Sometimes, they only last a day, or at most a weekend. The trip will be just enough time for you to hit the reset button for your brain.

How to Whirlwind in four easy steps:

Pack a bag, but don’t over pack. It’s a short stay and you don’t need to stress out about it.

Book a ticket or plan your drive.

When you get to your destination, look up a place to stay by using the Hotel Tonight app.

Go explore. Buy a book. See all the tourist traps. Eat food. Leave your phone at the hotel.
