Our Outpost series is dedicated to the homes we wish we could live in.
Just a hop, skip, and a jump away from New York City lies this little gem called Bug Acres. Now, the name is certainly different and not very enticing, but keep scrolling and you'll see exactly why we wish this place was ours.
According to CWB Architects this place was built to “amplify the owner’s visual and auditory experience of the landscape.” With a gurgling creek, plenty of green grass, and so much more natural beauty surrounding the home, it would've been an injustice not to amplify the owners experience of it all.
The entire place is beautiful, but the highlight of the home lies in its porch. It's completely screened it with a wood burning stove that will keep you warm in the winter. However, during the summer months, the screens let a nice breeze in. Not that you'd want to be inside during the summer months anyway, but at least you have the option.
