How To Make Friends by Telephone

This book from the 1940's demonstrates some examples on conversational techniques that could still be useful today. Below is our favorite suggestion which is also mentioned in Dale Carnegie's "How To Win Friends and Influence People".

Use The Customers Name

There is no sweeter music to another person than the sound of his own name. Be sure to use it whenever appropriate.
