What’s the best travel advice you have?

As a photographer, my best advice is to plan out where you want to be for both sunset and sunrise.

What are your favorite places you’ve ever visited? Why?

My favorite place has been the Alabama Hills in the Eastern Sierra. We drove all night to catch the sunrise & could not believe the way the morning light created a magenta and purple like glow around the snowy mountains. Lack of sleep makes mornings like these worth it.

What are the best lessons you’ve learned from traveling?

Plan ahead but don't over plan your trip. Not everything goes as planned. Do some research on close by locations just in case you have some spare time.

What gear can you not travel without?

Besides my camera, I always carry a tent and sleeping bag in the trunk because I never know if I’ll extend my trips.

What do you shoot with?

I shoot with a Canon 6D attatched with a 17-40L lens.

Fill in the blank: I’d love to see ________ before I die

French Alps
